Meet Murphy, a 7 week old Australian Shepherd puppy. He is such the cutest little puppy ever!

While I was checking out a couple locations for fall photos I found these two little cuties. Being the softy I am, I brought them home. How could anyone leave these two adorable sweethearts out in the cold? Having a cat, dog and 3 kids at home I cannot keep them. There are so many unwanted cats and kittens right now that no animal rescue has room to take them in either.

They are both females, around 6-7 weeks old. They are very cuddly and playful. A little scared, but who can blame them? They are also litter trained! I’ve given them a bath and treated them for fleas, however you’ll need to get them their shots and spay them when they are old enough.

This was such an awesome session. I always love including pets in photos, which usually is just the family dog, but for this session I got to include a horse. It was a lot of fun and we got some great photos! We tried to get some with the dog as well, but she really didn’t care much for the camera.

For the last two years I have donated gift cards to my son’s PTO Silent Auction. It’s so wonderful to help the school and get to photograph a beautiful family in return. They were so easy and fun to work with. The weather could have been better, but least it didn’t rain until the end!

I have been so fortunate to get to photograph such great families. The Myers family was wonderful to work with. I loved that they wanted to include their dog. A lot of times pets get overlooked when people think about family photos and I’m thrilled that the last two family sessions I’ve done have included them! After all, don’t we think of them as part of the family? I’m always happy to include pets at no extra charge!
