Thanks Sara for making the stop while you were back in town from Colorado. It was a lot a fun to photograph your little ones, and Lena has grown up so much since last time.

At the end of July, Stephanie McFrederick Photography offered a day of Mini Sessions to help raise money for the Kerschner Family. For those of you who do not know, Kemery Kerschner is a 6 year old Ashland resident with cancer for the second time. Kemi is such an amazing and strong little girl. I am so lucky to be able to help and work with such a wonderful family.

I would like to thank everyone who helped with the mini sessions and the families who I photographed. Together, we were able to raise $525.00!!

Here are some of the wonderful images we captured on the Mini Session day!

Kids Kountry and I have paired up to do an awesome Modeling Contest for boys and girls! There will be 3 winners.

1st place will receive a $125 Shopping Spree at Kids Kountry and a Custom Portrait Session with Stephanie McFrederick Photography!

2nd place will receive a $75 Shopping Spree at Kids Kountry and a Custom Portrait Session with Stephanei McFrederick Photography!

3rd place will receive a $50 Shopping Spree at Kids Kountry and a Mini Portrait Session with Stephanie McFrederick Photography!

The first 20 participants will receive a gift card to Stephanie McFrederick Photography just for entering. Gift cards range from $10-$50 and are chosen at random.

Every child entered will receive a FREE 5×7 Portrait of their entered photo!

To compete in the Kids Kountry competition all you need to do is:

1. Stop by the store (located at 33 W. Main St Ashland, OH) and have your children model in Kids Kountry clothing starting on September 1st, 2010.
2. You must purchase the outfit your child models in.
3. Sign a release form stating it is okay for us to use your children’s photos.
4. Sign up for Kids Kountry’s newsletter and confirm in your email account that you accept Kids Kountry emails.**
5. Once the time period for photographs is over, pictures will be posted on our web site.
6. An email will be sent to you to vote on your top pictures per category.
7. One vote per person.
8. Winners will be announced via web site and email!
9. Winners photos will remain on Kids Kountry’s website, other photographers will be removed.

**Opting into Kids Kountry emails is so that we can limit voting to one vote per person. No information collected will be resold to other companies nor will you receive a bunch of emails from vertical response email collection agency.

You may purchase your child’s outfit at any time during their business hours. Photographs for the contest will be taken on the following dates:

September 8th 10-2pm

September 11th 2-4pm

September 15th 10-2pm

September 18t 2-4pm

September 22nd 10-2pm

And no blog post is complete without a photo.. here’s little Zoe one of the sweet little 6 month olds I got to work with recently! She is such a sweetheart.

I’m so glad I got to work with this family. They were such the sweetest people! I photographed Mr. Lowen earlier in the day for his one year photos, I’m so glad we did because by the time we did the family session it was so hot!

I am so fortunate to have such beautiful models! These two little girls are just adorable and have the sweetest parents. We got some wonderful images even though our session was cut shorter then expected by the rain.

Thank you again Mike and Kendra! It was very nice to meet you and your girls. I look forward to working with you all again soon.

I photographed Sarah and Taylor when I first started in photography not long ago and it was so wonderful to get to do their photos again. They are such beautiful and well behaved little girls. I’m sure they would have done just about anything I asked and they didn’t complain once about the rain. I always enjoy working with them and I can’t wait to do their family photo again soon.

Another one of the mini sessions! Karter and Kennedy were so great at their session. They are such beautiful kids and Miss. Kennedy just loved being in front of the camera. Karter was such a great little boy and just loved his hat!

The mini sessions turned out so well despite the rain throughout the day! I was able to get most of the sessions in, however some needed to be rescheduled (again!). Even with the weather issues, I really enjoyed all the mini sessions I did and would love to offer them more often!

These two little boys were such a blast to work with! It’s not very often I get to photograph little kids jumping in mud puddles. Kyle had so much fun doing it, but Joe really didn’t want much part of it. He was more interested in getting a photo with some bright colored tires. I’m am so glad I got to meet them and their mom, they are all such sweet people. Thank you so much again Marty! I hope you enjoyed your session as well as your gallery.

Wow, things have been so crazy here! I’ve photographed so many wonderful families and I am so happy that things have slowed down a bit that I am able to post sneak peaks again. The Smiths were wonderful to work with. My son, Andrew, was super excited for me to photographed them since he is friends with their little boy. They are all such sweet people and I am very happy that I got the chance to capture their family portraits.

I love photographing my family. It’s such a joy to me to be able to capture their memories for them. Rylan is growing up so fast. Seems like not long ago I was doing her newborn photos and now she’s 6 months! I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful and gorgeous family.
